The magnetic pin is a small copy of the famous cross of San Damiano, also known as the Franciscan cross. This icon, two meters tall in the original, used to stand in the village chapel of San Damiano. According to tradition, the image of Jesus spoke to St. Francis in 1205 when he prayed in front of it. At that time, he received the divine order to rebuild the dilapidated village chapel. Today, the St. Francis Cross is located in the Basilica of Santa Chiara in Assisi.
